The ceiling is
completely flat and features delicate paintings of animals, flowers and
decorations. Pompeji was a Roman town
situated at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. In 79 A.D. it was completely destroyed
when Vesuvius erupted. The classroom walls are decorated in the famous Pompeian
red.
