The ceiling is a
reproduction of the ancient Moorish wooden ceiling in the University
Church of Alkala de Heinares in Spain. The doorway is a reproduction of the
famous "Golden Gate" (Porta aurea) in Cordoba. It is flanked by four separate
marble columns, with colourfully decorated capitals (reproductions of capitals
in the Alhambra). A valuable prayer carpet graces the inside of the door. The
walls are decorated with glazed painted clay tiling, similar to that in the
famous Toledo Cathedral.
